I'm a fifth year math PhD student at Caltech working with Nikolai Makarov. My research interests lie primarily within in geometric function theory, potential theory, complex analysis, and complex dynamics. GPU-accelerated interactive explorer for complex dynamical systems.
Visualize Mandelbrot sets, Julia sets, Burning Ship fractals, and other parameter spaces in real time. Supports custom functions f(z,c), adjustable escape conditions, zoom, and PNG export. Built with Cindy.js and CindyGL (WebGL).
Interactive visualization of how complex maps deform the unit disk.
Draws the image of a polar grid on the unit disk (or its exterior) under a user-defined complex function f(z). Grid lines are colored by arg(f′(z)), revealing critical points and conformal structure. Supports draggable complex parameters, real parameter sliders, and a library of preset maps.
GPU-accelerated domain coloring of complex functions.
Colors each pixel z by f(z): hue encodes argument, brightness encodes log-magnitude. Zeros appear as black points where all colors converge; poles appear as bright spots where colors cycle rapidly. Supports custom functions, pan/zoom, 12 presets, and PNG export.
Interactive tool for exploring harmonic functions and equilibrium measures.
Draws equipotential lines and gradient flows for user-defined charge configurations in the plane. Demonstrates connections between logarithmic potential theory and electrostatics, including balayage and Green's functions.
Ergodic-theory approach to satellite ground-station coverage statistics.
Computes long-term view periods between satellites and ground stations for elliptical orbits under J2 perturbations, using ergodic theory to replace expensive Monte Carlo simulations. Related to work presented at AAS 2021.
